Cork pads for protecting glass

Introduction:

Cork pad is made of the bark of oak, is a precious renewable green resource, which grows along side rocks in the Mediterranean region. The global output is only about 350,000 tons per year, of which Portugal accounts for 50% and is famous for its best quality. As the micro-structure of cells of cork is made up of six-sided cylinder cork cells in the honeycombed arrangement, the density is 40 million cells per cubic meter. Air in lumen accounts for 70% of unit volume, taking up 0.24. Therefore, cork is a lightweight material, sealed by resin between cells to make it a seal unit. With special cell structure and chemical composition, cork features of prosperities of good natural flexibility, shock resistance, excellent sound absorption, corrosion resistance, moisture resistance, friction resistance and so on.

Main application: isolate glasses and adjust space to effectively protect glass from friction and crashing so as to reduce losses in transit
